We have a fantastic opportunity for an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to join our team in Melbourne.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Operations Manager & Director, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance within the project contract, ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation and approvals. In addition, **the role is to identify and implement any feasible improvement opportunities**. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing advice for environmental approvals and due diligence assessments
- Participating in Energy Upgrades planning and execution.
- Providing technical advice to projects, short term & the long-term Upgrade projects
- Reviewing and providing advice on environmental monitoring programs and results.
- Managing a register of environmental compliance; identifying and escalating potential non-conformances.
- Developing and implementing an audit schedule to ensure ongoing compliance needs are met.
- Undertake site travel and support as required
- Ensure sites and assets comply with environmental licences/permits/approvals and legislation
- Support, Advise and review environmental incidents, risks and opportunities

ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary Qualifications (Degree) in Environmental Science/ Engineering/ Energy / Management, Sustainability or similar.
- Minimum 1-2 years environmental management experience. Experience Energy Upgrades will be highly regarded.
- Current Drivers licence.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, both verbally and written with all levels of an organisation.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective planning, time management and organizational skills.

**Salary**: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
