Our client is a market leading, manufacturer of building products currently looking for an Internal Sales Specialist or Account Manager with a passion for delivering world class customer experiences and managing the end-to-end post sales process.

Working in a dedicated internal sales team this role will take ownership of a customer portfolio whilst providing basic product support. The role will be responsible for providing a high level of sales support and account management to their portfolio of customers whilst identifying opportunities to increase sales.

The ability to take ownership of a customer portfolio by providing effective and proactive sales support is critical in achieving success within this role.

**Role duties include but are not limited to**:

- Develop 1:1 relationships with our key customers to deliver the ultimate customer experience
- Take ownership of customer enquiries and work effectively with internal stakeholders responsible for each step of the servicing process
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and the greater sales team by managing and sharing leads, providing customer insights, and proactively engaging with key sales personnel across the business
- Proactively identify project opportunities and liaise with external customers where required
- Exceptional customer service and account management skills with a customer first attitude
- 3 years experience in a customer service/internal sales/B2B role
- Intermediate abilities of Microsoft Office - specifically Outlook & Excel
- Have knowledge of CRM software
- SAP knowledge is desirable
- In addition, the role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and excellent problem solving and analytical skills. The ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team is also critical
