Ditch the long commute to Brisbane City and join the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) marketing team at our Springwood office.

In this unique role, you’ll develop and implement marketing funnels to help us recruit new veterinary professional team members to work in our chain of vet hospital brands. You’ll be responsible for recognising the most effective advertising channels and driving engagement to take our potential team members from the top of the funnel through to the bottom of the funnel - where our recruitment team will take the lead and introduce them to our company.

Our hospitals are in a high growth phase due to the ever-growing pet ownership market, and we are looking to recruit 100 new vets and nurses to join our team over the next year to support our teams through this phase.

**Who We Are**

Animal Emergency Australia is comprised of Animal Emergency Service (AES), Pet Intensive Care Unit (Pet ICU), Perth Vet Emergency (PVE) and AHVEC which are after-hours emergency veterinary clinics providing the highest standard of care to pets along the Queensland South-East coast, Perth and Tasmania.

With six locations spread across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Hobart and Perth, our emergency hospitals open from 6pm on weeknights and operate 24 hours on weekends and public holidays, 365 days per year. **The Role**

While your main role will be to develop lead funnels, you’ll also take the lead on our influencer marketing strategy and help us to develop our Animal Emergency Australia website into a binge-worthy, content munching machine; helping us lure in the vet professionals we need to achieve our big, hairy, audacious goals. This role suits an experienced marketer with 3-4+ years marketing experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for a variety of marketing projects - here’s a snapshot of your new position:

- Recruitment Marketing Funnels_
- Plan funnel campaigns for the AEA brand to attract our employee personas, piecing together lead magnets and content for marketing funnels
- Use marketing automation in ActiveCampaign to design funnel campaigns
- Identify effective marketing channels and implement paid social campaigns for our recruitment team
- Public Relations_
- Work with our Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator to plan B2B content promotion on our social channels
- Identify opportunities to promote our content on vet-related forums and media channels
- Assist in building backlinks, and identify opportunities to promote our businesses
- Influencer Marketing_
- Plan, develop and implement an internal influencer program
- Work with internal influencers to develop key messaging and identify opportunities to promote AEA and its brands
- Actively seek internal influencers and recruit them to the internal influencer program

**Essential Technical Skills & Experience**
- Degree/tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and minimum 2 years’ work experience with demonstratable knowledge of marketing theories
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail - you’ll be especially proficient in grammar and spelling
- Experience in seeking media opportunities is highly desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to form and develop relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Our marketing agency are an extension of the AEA family, providing the strategy and direction for our brand - you will have experience working with a marketing agency to achieve marketing objectives
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced role with competing priorities and deadlines
- Own transport and QLD Drivers Licence required, as the role will involve some travel
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience) is highly desirable but not essential, alongside video editing

**How We’ll Reward You**
- An attractive salary of between $65,000 - $75,000 + super (experience based)
- 10% super + 17.5% annual leave loading, fortnightly pay
- Full-time role, only 38 hours per week - additional hours can be taken as time in
