**Duties and Responsibilities**
In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Provide expert recruitment and Entry Level Programs advice and guidance, monitor changes in APS employment conditions, recruitment policies, procedures and legislation, oversee compliance, share knowledge and identify emerging issues.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders, both within and external to the department, to drive data-driven recruitment solutions, merit-based outcomes and continuous improvement in recruitment processes and systems.
- Develop a strong understanding of the department’s online recruitment system and lead the team to make enhancement to the system to improve efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment services.
- Support the strategic direction of the department and influence decision making, by researching, developing and providing accurate data, reporting and/or documentation for the Director and Senior Executive related to recruitment and broader HR initiatives.
- Support a continuous improvement approach and implement recruitment and Entry Level Program policies, procedures and frameworks that support the team’s ongoing strategic and operational delivery of recruitment services.
- Lead and develop strategic recruitment initiatives and plans, ensuring adherence to best practice standards and compliance with APS and department requirements, to deliver workforce priorities.
- Foster an inclusive and positive team culture, provide leadership, and support team members to enhance their capability, professional development and contribute to a high performing team.
