The opportunity to contribute in delivering a new vibrant workspace as part of the National Office Re-Fit Project, has become available for a proactive Change and Communications Manager, to join the project delivery team for the project period life of approximately two years.

This opportunity would suit an innovative and forward thinking senior Change and Communications Management professional, who can modernise and transform the way we work to ensure we are a trusted and professional business partner - delivering property insights to inform decision-making across DVA.

The Major Property Projects team is responsible for ensuring fit out construction delivery represents best practice and aligns with the Commonwealth Property Management Framework.

**Duties**
- Delivering efficient and effective project change management services to the department.
- Engaging effectively with stakeholders and divisional project owners to inform change management agendas.
- Developing communications strategies and materials to build engagement across a large geographically dispersed workforce.
- Providing strategic advice to the CPO Division and the Executive on a variety of project and change issues.
- Providing change management expertise to project owners to support the successful implementation of divisional projects, including projects which have agency-wide impact.
- Representing the branch or department at both internal and external meetings and forums.
- Preparing a range of written material including various reports, ministerial and department briefs.
- Exercising strong leadership, relationship and management skills, playing a key role in implementing and driving change.
- Providing clear and consistent communication in alignment with the Project Communication Strategy plan, whilst setting clear performance and behavioural standards.
- Assessing risk and escalate matters for appropriate mitigation or action, including where they affect resourcing, timelines or delivery.
