- **About the Role**:_

With the ambition to become Australia's leading manufacturer of healthy treats, we continuously strive to set new standards in quality and distribution, reflecting our commitment to both excellence and sustainability. We are looking for a qualified and experienced **Production Manager**to join our team. The position will report to our **Senior Production Manager**. _Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:_
- Supervise daily production activities to meet daily requirements
- Roster and supervise your team to ensure correct labour and output efficiencies
- Produce and analyse daily operational reports
- Train and motivate the production team
- Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to GMP standards
- Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective action immediately
- Assist in building a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Improve site production efficiencies
- Responsible for maintaining HACCP accreditation and leading annual audit process
- Calibration and startup of machinery including, tetrapak continuous freezers, teknoice continuous freezer, rotary filler, plate heat exchangers, and homogenisers

**About you**

We are looking for someone who can/has:

- Extensive experience in the food industry
- Strong leadership, staff management and training abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage quality
- Knowledge of WH&S regulations
- “Can do” collaborative attitude
- Attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of HACCP, quality systems and involvement in audits
- Must have experience in dairy or ice cream manufacturing and their respective safety requirements
- Must have experience with continuous freezers, rotary fillers, plate heat exchangers, and homogenisers
- Willingness to work in a multicultural team with diverse back grounds speaking numerous languages
- Previous experience in an export registered dairy processing facility is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
