**THE FIRM**

This prestigious and well-regarded Australian law firm is known to provide specialist advice to their clients nationally across many areas of law. Due to continued growth in the accounts team, our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to work in the Melbourne CBD office on a permanent full-time basis.

**THE ROLE**

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the smooth function of the Accounts Payable team.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Supervising a team of Accounts Clerks
- Managing work allocation
- Receipting of trust monies against relevant matters & invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Creating cheques
- Following up internal and supplier queries
- Processing office related invoices
- Liaising with internal departments

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Solid Accounts Payable experience
- At least 1 year experience supervising a team
- Advanced Microsoft Office - Word & Excel
- Excellent verbal and written skills to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and strong time management ability
