Located in the city, this academic based NFP has just said goodbye to a long-standing Finance & Business Officer following a change of roles. This role is is a great chance for you to sink your teeth into both operational and strategic financial operations

Reporting to the COO and the Finance & Business Manager that will lead you and a small team across all financial and business admin functions.

Your role will focus on the compliance and performance of the business, including the oversight of all related policies and procedures. Remember, not everyone gets accounting so it will be up to you to be proactive and translate information to people like me writing this job ad

You will be accountable for all financial management. This means assisting in budgeting, fixed asset record management, financial reporting and completing BAS/FPT returns.

Working within a small team of three, you won't be required to do day-day operational processing of AR/AP or payroll (we would love if you had MYOB experience), but you will be responsible for making sure you integrate yourself as a part of the team and help out when you can

**I know, you want this job So what do you need?**

This is a finance role - so we are looking for someone with medium to high accounting experience however having your CPA/CA is not a necessity. Most importantly, you are looking to work in a role that allows you to be both operational and strategic.

You might be looking to step into the NFP sector; or perhaps you have had a successful career in an accounting practice and are seeking more autonomy and the challenge of taking one business forward. Either way, you are humble, but looking to make an impact
