Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and specialise in mining industry charters, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. As the Coordinator Safety Systems reporting to the Manager Safety Systems, you will be part of a dynamic Safety Team and will be primarily responsible for coordinating and supporting the ongoing compliance with Network Aviation safety systems across operational safety and quality, WHS, environment and security disciplines. Your role will entail working with various functional Safety Business partners to ensure safety is upheld.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Safety Management System coordination including monitoring and reporting on the health of the safety system by leveraging a data driven approach
- Drive safety promotion and training across the business in a consistent and transparent manner
- Engaging business stakeholders to support SMS processes including safety administration assistance such us daily report tracking, preparing and support for safety meetings and others as required
- Tasks relevant to your role as required by the Manager Safety Systems and other Safety managers

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Tertiary qualifications in safety (desirable) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working within an airline operational safety system (desirable)
- Good time management skills - be able to prioritise works
- Experience in compiling procedures or reports.
- Ability to present complex information in a simple way to a varied audience, and the ability to tailor the communication of information depending on the intent and the audience.
- Ability to present to an audience, and facilitate safety training to internal/external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in the interpretation and analysis of data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Demonstrates the broad ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to liaise effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
