**About the Role**
The national Scientific Instrumentation Business Unit of DKSH, headquartered in Melbourne, is a leader in the supply, service and support of analytical instrumentation, general laboratory equipment, reagents, and consumables throughout the Australian and New Zealand scientific community.

We have an exciting & unique Sales Manager role, focusing on general laboratory equipment, reagent and consumable sales and product management across Australia.

**Responsibilities and focus areas include**:

- Management of a General Laboratory Sales Specialist with potential to grow the business and therefore the team.
- Develop and implement a portfolio strategic plan to grow the general laboratory business.
- Drive portfolio growth to serve our existing suppliers and business objectives and manage supplier relationships.
- Utilise available channels to market to maximise market exposure (including but not limited to; re-sellers, sales, marketing, online shop and third-party e-commerce portals)
- Support resellers and drive sales growth through the DKSH reseller network
- Support sales specialists across Australia to ensure they can position the products accordingly and identify new opportunities across a variety of scientific industries as well as manage the current customer base.
- Supporting the DKSH and third-party e-commerce portals as well as our own LabShop e-commerce portal with updated product and pricing information
- Development of relationships with key customer contacts - decision makers and influencers

**About you**
Skills and experience - we are looking for:

- An energetic high achiever with Product Management experience and a strong record of sales success within the general laboratory and consumable scientific instrumentation field
- Most importantly a demonstrable understanding & recent exposure to the general Instrumentation market, including knowledge of the key customers and competitors in this space.
- A commercially astute professional, willing to work both individually, as part of a motivated and supportive team and as a leader within the Instrumentation business.
- A tertiary qualification in science (or related) preferred.
- A passionate, accountable, high-performance attitude, with a willingness to be flexible and keep learning.
