State Government Department

We are currently seeking an experienced procurement professional to work in a state government department. This is for an immediate start.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Provide hands-on management expertise and advice on complex procurement matters
- Ensure procurement advice is consistent with relevant legislations and regulations -e.g Treasurer Instruction 18 (TI18), Procurement Services SA policies and procedures & departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain, innovate & disseminate procurement policies and procedures.
- Deliver training packages (together with supporting documentation, templates, and guides) to emergency services sector staff.
- Identify, develop, and implement strategic improvement practices, systems, and procedures to deliver best practice in procurement.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain forward procurement planning identify synergies across the emergency services sector.
- Fulfil mandatory reporting obligations, reviews and assessment as TI18 and Procurement Services SA.

**Your Experience**:

- The management of end-to-end procurement with an emphasis on partnering with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Give and receive feedback and build solid working relationships.
- Ability to seek continuous improvement and refinement of a procurement framework tailored to staff needs.
- Developed and delivered training, mentoring and advisory support.

- Must be living in Australia to apply
- Must have at least 10 years experience in procurement
