Leading Hand Carpenter Needed for Permanent Position

**Your new company**

Hays is recruiting for one of Sydney's leading commercial carpentry companies. This company specialises in commercial works and has expertise in all aspects of carpentry and joinery. This company has recently won business with a big client in the car dealership space and has been awarded the task of building car showrooms across Sydney.

**Your new role**

Our client is currently looking for a Leading Hand Carpenter to join their team on a permanent basis.

In this role you will have the following duties:

- Framing, Fitting, Aluminium Cladding works
- Fitting out Workshops and completing Car Show Rooms
- Coordination and logistics of material handling for the relevant trades on site
- Maintain professional relationships with relevant trades
- Be aware of and report to the Site Manager any issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations
- Assisting the Foreman with supervising daily activities of Trades and Labourers on site within allocated section
- Supervising the day-to-day events and proceedings within allocated section.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role you will need the following:

- Previous leading hand experience
- Qualified in Carpentry
- Own tools and vehicle
- Ability to commit to long term work
- Experience within commercial carpentry
- High level of supervising skills
