**Cocoon SDA Care** is a fast-growing, innovative, and dynamic organisation. We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers who seek a role that is committed to your training and growth. We are seeking experienced staff who will assist in supporting participants with high complex behaviour and high-level medical needs. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA to provide people with high complex support needs an opportunity to live in an environment that supports and maximises personal growth and independence.

The Disability Support Workers engage with the participants as they shape and improve their lives. They create opportunities, are champions of connecting their abilities, and inspire partnerships of support that encourage every individual to realise the full potential of their life as human beings.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide support to participants with **high Physical and Challenging Behaviors**:

- Provide personal care to persons with disability.
- Maintain all written correspondence and reports up to date within required standards.
- Execute as instructed designated tasks and activities aimed at meeting the client’s personal needs/community support/empowerment, team objectives and/or program goals.
- Fulfil designated duties/tasks as instructed by the employer when requested/required. This includes working across all client groups when and if required.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Carry out duties/activities in a cooperative manner.

**Mandatory requirement**

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold:

- NDIS worker screening clearance,
- Cert III in Disability Services
- NDIS COVID 19 Certification
- Proof of Full Vaccination.
- NSW Driver's License
- Working with Children Check
