**About the role**
The Project Officer, Events supports the development and implementation of major event programs across the Department of Education as well as smaller corporate events.
**About you**
You are an experienced events producer and coordinator who will:
- Foster collaboration and work with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful events for the Department
- Provide technical and insightful inputs in co-designing events
- Support other Directorates with their events including advice and supporting documentation
- Demonstrate the ability to champion, model and promote corporate values at events
- Have organisational skills with the capacity to coordinate tasks within tight schedules in conjunction with other variable work demands

**Essential requirements, experience and knowledge**
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
