**About the Role**
Indigenous Job Match (IJM) is proud to support Strong Women Talking in recruiting for a culturally grounded **Intake & Assessment Officer**.
This is more than an admin role — this is a culturally sacred entry point for women seeking healing and safety.

As **Intake & Assessment Officer**, you’ll:

- Gently guide women through SWT’s intake and eligibility process
- Provide trauma-informed assessments and brief solution-focused support
- Link women to services and refer when needed
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in the client management system
- Support healing-based group programs and assist with welcome packs
- Represent SWT’s values of respect, cultural safety, and sisterhood in every interaction

**This Role Is For You If You**:

- Are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman
- Have experience or understanding of family and domestic violence
- Are grounded in community and can sit in safety with women experiencing trauma
- Can hold professional boundaries while being culturally responsive
- Are confident with phone-based support, intake systems, and note-taking
- Understand the importance of women’s business and culturally safe support systems

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Identify as **Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander**:

- Identify as **Female**, as this is a **women’s business role**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a **Blue Card** and **National Police Check**

**Identified Role**
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women-only position, permitted under:

- **Section 8(1)** of the _Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth)_
- **Sections 25, 104, and 105** of the _Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991_
