PATIENT TRANSPORT CONTRACT OFFICER (Full Time, Permanent role)

We are seeking a qualified Patient Transport Contract Officer to manage the assigned AV contract providers and health networks. Role is accountable for coordination, deployment and reconciliation of AV supplied equipment, while working closely with the Patient Transport Hub and other AV departments to ensure AV meets its business objectives.
About the role
Reporting to the Lead Contract & Business, the main duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and maintain ongoing relations with Patient Transport providers, Health Networks and other key internal and external stakeholders,
- Ensure AV's contract management practice remains clear, transparent and robust, coordination, deployment and conciliation of AV supplied equipment and process and validation of supplier and contractor invoices,
- Engage appropriate Contractor resourcing, as well as maintain oversight of AV's Contractor Verification and Compliance system,
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach where Patient Transport processes and systems are reviewed and updated in consultation with the team to suit the business requirements.
About you
**To be considered for this position you will possess**:
- Excellent negotiation skills and sound commercial knowledge using expertise to address stakeholder issues and positively influence outcomes,
- Proven ability to prepare reports including commercial and contractual analysis,
- Comfortable working autonomously and as a member of a team with an ability to assess risk and create solutions,
- You are a confident communicator with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills,
- Have a current Drivers Licence.

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check.
The position is graded at AV-3. The AV grade salary range for AV-3 position is $79,172 - $93,690 plus 10% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade.
