What you bring

Organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, you will perform a broad range of administrative duties. You will be highly committed to providing excellent customer service.

Possessing experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting and with familiarity with IPM software you will have the ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relations with others. You will have a sound knowledge of medical terminology and demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

About the role

An interesting opportunity at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital to work in Patient Services in Admissions, Data Entry/Pre Admissions, Case Note Preparation, Switchboard, Consulting Rooms, Medical Records and Ward Clerk Roles.

Process patient admissions

Pre-admission Data Entry using IPM computer system

Pre-admission Administration Support

Patient, Health Fund and Doctors Rooms correspondence

Maintaining of filing system

Collation and preparation of patient case-notes

General reception and switchboard

Consulting Reception Administration Support

Admission and discharge of overnight and day patients

Health fund validations

Collection and receipting of monies

Escorting Patients to Rooms

A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation

Other duties as requested by the Patient Administration Manager/Patient Services Supervisor
