This position ensures that all training programs meet both state and federally funded contractual obligations and national regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance and excellence in education delivery. The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing curriculum implementation, trainer performance, and continuous improvement processes to achieve outstanding learner outcomes. The role fosters a culture of professional development and accountability, equipping students with industry-relevant skills and maintaining the integrity of the RTO. **Perks of Working at WISE** - Competitive Salary with added Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging benefits (tax savings) + Super + More - Fantastic reward and recognition initiatives and ongoing learning and development - Four additional "Wellness-Days" of leave (one each quarter), the ability to purchase additional annual leave and various healthy lifestyle initiatives - Company Laptop & iPhone - Exclusive benefits and discounts from leading retailers through Flare - We are recognised by the DCA as a genuinely inclusive employer **To be considered you must**: - Have full Australian working rights - Hold a full Australian driver’s license - Be willing to obtain a National Police Check - Be able to pass a Working with Children Check - Demonstrate the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity and a Growth Mindset **Selection Criteria**: - Extensive experience working in the VET and/or RTO sector, including management experience. - Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122). - Knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) 2015 or its successor requirements. - Demonstrated knowledge of VET programs, including training package and curriculum requirements. - Evidence of actively developing own skills and keeping up to date with industry developments on an ongoing basis. - Proven success in managing and developing a team, including co-ordinating outcomes. - Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines - Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an effective team member. - Experience in using RTO training management systems to ensure quality training provision. - Experience in using SMS and LMS software e.g aXcelerate. - Strong customer service attitude and demonstrated qualities of empathy and integrity, particularly with disadvantaged members of the community. - Ability to travel as required. - Diploma of Frontline Management (desirable). **The role will involve** Program Development - Provide leadership in ensuring training is engaging, well-structured and enables VET students to attain skills and knowledge consistent with the training product._ - Ensure VET students have access to support services, trainers and assessors and other staff to support their progress throughout the training product._ - Develop and complete Training and Assessment Strategies, in consultation with trainers and the RTO Compliance Team._ - Support trainers to complete Trainer Matrices and determine appropriate programs for the trainers._ - Liaise with National Education Manager to provide accurate course information for students prior to enrolment._ - Ensure industry consultation occurs for all courses._ - Co-ordinate information sessions, pre-training reviews and enrolment sessions with the training and support team._ - Effectively collaborate with other training staff and the National Education Manager in marketing strategies and planning activities. _ - Actively contribute to and support the maintaining of a positive relationship with industry partners in consultation with the National Education Manager._ Trainer Management - Lead a culture of integrity, fairness and transparency in the organisation’s delivery of services._ - Support the appointment and induction of appropriate staff to carry out training programs._ - Provide a line of management with hands-on leadership and supervision._ - Arrange and hold regular trainer meetings._ - Manage trainers teaching load, leave requests and timesheets, as required._ - Implement a systematic approach to assessing and evaluating the performance of training staff and addressing their professional development needs._ - Complete monthly/annual performance appraisals with training staff._ Trainer Support - Provide mentoring and general coordination for trainers._ - Support trainers in the delivery of appropriate levels of quality training and assessment._ - Ensure that only _WISE Training Services (RTO) _approved documentation is
