Seeking an experienced Project Officer with experience in Procurement and Capital Works, starting immediately

**Your new company**

A State Government department based in Osborne Park, is seeking an experienced Project and Procurement Officer to join the team immediately. You will be engaged on an initial short-term temporary basis, and will be required to work full-time hours.

**Your new role**

Within this role you will be responsible for:

- Manage low to medium value projects, from planning to execution stage
- Process payment claims and prepare tender documents around the project
- Provide advice around contract management issues and procurement processes
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to achieve project outcomes
- Compile assessment reports and update and maintain the project management systems adequately

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role you will have previous experience within both Projects and Procurement positions, in addition to:

- Previous experience within capital works and construction projects would be preferable
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to provide a National Police Clearance, or be willing to obtain if successful
