**About the Role**
This is an entry-level role within our account/client service department, and an opportunity to kick-start your career within the creative communications industry.
Your objective as an Account Executive is to gain direct experience in working with cross-functional teams to understand and address business and campaign needs while developing key skills in client-engagement, problem solving, and communications.
You will help coordinate the execution of campaigns/projects and provide general support to the broader Account team. You will work closely with Account Manager and Senior Account Manager, under the guidance and mentorship of a Group Account Director.
You will maintain daily/weekly status, organise team meetings, produce conference reports, execute, and manage aspects of creative development and production projects, learn VMLY&R processes, and become familiar with agency documentation, understanding the purpose of each document and when to use it, and more.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Offer day to day support across the Account Management team including shadowing the senior team members across campaigns to assist with the roll out / implementation phase.
- Dependent on skill levels and confidence, opportunity to run smaller campaigns of your own (with team support and guidance).
- Assisting with the day-to-day finance of the account; estimates, business forecasting and invoicing clients.
- Scheduling client meetings; inclusive of coordinating invite lists, meeting room assignment and catering requirements. Prior front of house/hosting experience a benefit.
- Scheduling internal meetings and assisting project managers with getting the right people in the room on time.
- Assistance in flagging and booking resource requirements with traffic.
- Writing and circulating meeting agendas, contact reports and updating WIP documents.
- Working with the account management team to cross-reference creative output and make sure works is on brand and delivers against the brief.
- Creating and managing account guard books which document campaign creative and results.
- Knowledge of client birthdays and special occasions to be acknowledged / celebrated.
- Assistance with client entertainment requirements.
**Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities**
- Solid communication skills.
- Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up and knowledge of overall account logistics.
- Initiative, enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow direction.
- Interest in digital and technology required.
- A quick learner.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong ability to form relationships.
- Multitasking and ability to juggle busy schedules.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is beneficial.
