**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced trade compliance specialist to join L3Harris as a Trade Compliance Manager. Working with a highly skilled and tight-knit cross-functional team, you will ensure L3Harris’s adherence to legislative requirements and policies concerning the import, export, transfer and movement of sensitive technology and data - with particular emphasis on compliance with U.S. Export legislation.

**About you**

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Extensive experience in a similar role, with deep understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Australian Defence Export Control regulations
- Competency in interpreting export legislation
- Experience providing expert advice and training to operational and project teams
- Highly developed stakeholder influence, engagement & management skills
