**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity for a **Payroll Manager **to join our Finance team in Adelaide in a part-time capacity (0.5FTE - 0.8FTE). In this role, you will be responsible for all payroll matters, including the payroll system, processes and relevant reconciliations.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Overseeing and reviewing the delivery of accurate and timely payroll processing for 700+ employees
- Providing expertise on payroll issues and legislative requirements such as EEO principles
- Performing payroll calculations such as performance and terminations payments
- Administering leave balances and leave provision calculations
- Preparing payroll journals, monthly accruals, reconciliations to meet reporting requirements and deadlines
- Liaising with the People Partnering team in relation to employment matters and the payroll aspects of staff benefits such as novated leases, company funded parental pay, and purchased leave

**What we expect from you**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar lead position
- Relevant payroll qualifications
- Proven k nowledge of payroll tax, workcover, superannuation and related statutory/legislative guidelines for Australian & New Zealand
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A strong process improvement focus, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
