**Your new company**
We are partnering with a National FM service provider that has a reputation built on delivering an exceptional suit of services to its clients in both the public and private sectors. With a focus on tailored solutions that utilize technology and software to ensure maximum efficiency to its partners, this client always puts the customer at the centre of what they do but understands their team is the key to their success. They are now looking to expand their team by appointing a Payroll Officer on a Full time permanent basis.

**Your new role**
Duties include but are not limited to the below:

- Accurately process fortnightly pay runs
- Entering new employees into the payroll system
- Verify compliance with employee commencement checklist and escalate any anomalies to managers
- Conduct Right to work checks
- Entering Payroll wage data into the finance system
- Reconciling and Processing of long service leave including all interstate Long Service Leave Boards
- Maintaining Payroll software, including updating software, tax scales, employee pay rates, conducting backups of data files

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have at least 5 years experience in a payroll position
- Have previous experience using a time and attendance system
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Answer all queries in a timely manner
- Have excellent communication both written and verbal
