Internal Consultant

**About the Role**
This role is to assist the External Consultant with the ongoing management of their client base. The role predominantly involves end to end administration including deal structure, serviceability and workflow management through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities
- Determine loan serviceability, prepare credit submissions and actively manage the deal through the credit approval process (ensuring policy requirements & approval conditions are met)
- Answer inbound enquiries and providing exceptional customer service to external/internal clients including regularly updating the client on file progress
- Assist with multiple product distribution by assisting the External Consultants to identify cross sell opportunities within existing client base
- Monitor ongoing needs of existing client base and work with External Consultant to review and where necessary, update the clients banking solutions
- Ongoing client maintenance and assist POD with client retention
- Take an active role in POD marketing activities when required, including EDM’s and outbound call campaigns
- Specific administrative responsibilities include
- Receive, process and load new auto-approval transactions into Finesse
- Submit documentation requests to AFOPS and CLOPS or prepare loan document if they qualify Straight Through Processing (STP)
- Send invoice requests to suppliers
- Supplier accreditation
- Complete pre-settlement requirements including Credit Checks, conduct AML and print loan agreements
- Prepare Escrow Funding Notices and submit to AFOPS and CLOPS for payment once returned
- Submit requests for Transactional Banking including Credit Card, Overdraft and Deposit Accounts to the relevant operations teams
- Submit ancillary requests to all internal stakeholders, such as Client Services, PSOPS and TACS
- Order Valuation through Valex
- Process hardship request
- Prepare discharges and produce payout letters for Asset Finance Loan
- Demonstrate pro-active behaviours in regard to progressing each file

**About you**
The Education, experience, knowledge and competencies to succeed in the role
- Degree preferable
- Relationship management experience would be highly desirable
- Ability to read Financials and determine serviceability would be highly desirable
- Good understanding of Lending products
- Good team player with a positive and can do attitude
- Strong organisational skills and effective time management
- Excellent attention to detail
