The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workbench Project Management Software (WPMS) over a 3–6 month period. This role will work closely with our external WMPS implementation team, acting as the bridge between the company and the system providers.

The Project Manager will be responsible for documenting the company's internal processes to support the effectively roll out of WMPS, ensuring sustainable business outcomes. They will also provide guidance on project management and the implementation of best practice processes to maximise WMPS implementation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the internal lead for the WPMS implementation, coordinating between the external consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Map and document the company's internal processes to support the successful rollout of WMPS.
  • Embed strong project management discipline and apply best-practice implementation approaches.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to capture requirements and align workflows with the system.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and reporting mechanisms.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and resolving as needed.
  • Lead change management, staff training, and adoption activities.
  • Ensure thorough handover and knowledge transfer to build long-term internal capability.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in implementing project management systems.
  • Highly experienced user of Workbench, to software Administrator user level.
  • Strong project management skills: scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk & change management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal. Capable of managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in engineering / operations environments will be highly regarded.

Contract Details

  • Contract: 3-6 months (with possibility of extension depending on outcomes)
  • Location: Preferably Perth-based, however, remote arrangements will be considered for the right candidate
  • Remuneration: Competitive contract rate, dependent on experience
  • Start-date: Immediate
