**What’s the role?**

The Strategy Planning Manager is a critical role that supports execution of the strategy and roadmap for Technology, Digital and Data (TDD). This position is directly responsible for management of the process & pipeline for new initiative engagement and handover of approved initiatives to project and delivery leads for execution. In addition, this role provides input, direction and transparency on both strategic and tactical areas for TDD by supporting the development and coordination of updates intended for audiences in TDD and the wider business.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Own and manage the new / unplanned initiative engagement process for TDD, balancing appropriate consultation, transparency and information capture for decisioning while ensuring zero to mínimal impact to the operational needs of the business or prioritised roadmap
- Support the strategic planning & budgeting processes
- Support the coordination of TDD estimations, scope and impact assessments and business cases
- Coordinate and manage the handover of approved and prioritised initiatives to TDD delivery and project leads as needed
- Develop strategic & tactical updates for TDD and wider audiences as needed
- Identify opportunities for improvement across processes and ways of working within TDD to deliver better outcomes
- Support ad hoc business and market analysis as required to review or assess opportunity or challenge areas

**Who you are**
- 3-5 years experience within the media or technology industries (or equivalent strategy experience)
- Project management or PMO background is valuable
- High-level of attention to detail and ability to summarise complex information concisely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
- Strong understanding of common business objectives & challenges
- Familiarity with project management concepts & frameworks
- Familiarity with the media and/or technology industries
