**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events coordinator to sell, plan and execute events at our beautiful winery. You will create memorable experiences for our guests by:

- Assisting the Assistant Venue Manager to develop an annual calendar of events which maximises the effectiveness of the functions and events business
- Promoting a collaborative work environment and supporting all departments with the planning and implementation of events, weddings and conferences.
- Seeing opportunities for creative problem solving to enhance customer experiences
- Being organised so that time is managed efficiently and events run smoothly
- Performing all tasks with care and thoroughness, ensuring that responses are regular and made in a timely manner, to ensure all expectations are met
- Working with the assistant venue manager to develop new sales strategies and promotions
- Observing professional and ethical behaviour that upholds the organisation’s pledge of corporate social responsibility

**About You**:

- Previous events and/or restaurant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, effective communication, and active listening
- A qualification in Tourism, Hospitality or Events is desirable
- Problem solving skills, such as creativity and critical thinking
- Knowledge and experience with Opera, Word, and Excel to develop Event Orders for distribution to all departments is desirable
- An ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Love working as part of a team
