Venue Manager

Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for community engagement? Ferntree Gully Bowling Club is looking for a Venue Manager to oversee our vibrant club and deliver exceptional experiences to our members, guests, and event clients.

As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club, including the bar, kitchen, events, and functions. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive the growth of our club through exciting promotions and events.

• Manage daily club operations including bar, kitchen, bistro and event spaces.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team.
• Coordinate club events, private functions, and social activities.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety standards.
• Oversee budgets, stock control, and financial reporting.
• Drive marketing efforts to promote the club and increase membership.

• Proven experience in hospitality or venue management, preferably in a club or sporting environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of bar operations, event coordination, and customer service excellence.
• Valid RSA, RSG and Gaming Licence
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
• Would suit an applicant with Assistant Manager experience wishing to take the next step in their career journey.
