We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Buyer to join our team, reporting to the Senior Buyer, based in our Pyrmont Support Centre. In this role you will have the opportunity to bring with you your prior knowledge in Buying and put these skills into practice, as well as have the opportunity to support with creating our ranges and shaping our categories for stores.

Your new role at Sheridan...
- Support with the option plan build, buying and range/assortment of multiple categories
- Support with Monday trade and general analytical support to aid in decision making
- Conducting competitive market mapping insights from store analysis and research data
- Costing approvals in line with targets and code creation
- Creation of bed planner for in store visual merchandising
- Partnering with cross functional teams on a daily basis to ensure launch of product ranges in a timely matter

What experience you can bring to us?
- Ideally, you'll bring to us a minimum of 1 year/s buying experience as an Assistant Buyer or Buyers Admin Assistant ready for the next step from a large national retailer with local knowledge of homewares, soft furnishings, or the fashion industry
- Passion for product and buying
- Experience with code creation and product management systems
- High competency in excel is a must - VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are used heavily
- Highly numerate with strong commercial acumen
- High attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
- Confident in communicating and interacting with multiple stakeholders
