The Opportunity
An exciting role has become available in our Sheridan Merchandise Planning team for an Assistant Merchandise Planner based in our Vibrant Pyrmont Office on a fixed term 12 month opportunity. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a pivotal role in ensuring our main channel and wholesale business are maximised and consistently meeting sales targets. This role works side by side with the Merchandise Planning Manager in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities in the Australian market and optimize sales while meeting customer satisfaction goals.
- Ensure Wholesale ongoing products are ranged and forecasted based on current trends.
- Manage Wholesale Basic Forecasting in Optimizer and Planning Tool and ad hoc reporting as required by planner and planning manager
- Assist the Buyer & Merchandise Planner in the preparation of Buy signoffs
- Execute weekly reporting and analysis for trade meetings

Who are we looking for?
- To be considered for this role, you will ideally have 1-2 years of Junior Planning or Inventory/ Allocating Experience
- Knowledge of planning systems highly advantageous
- Understanding of the Retail Industry
- Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment including Advanced Excel
