**About the role**:
This newly created position sits within the Brand & Design team, whose purpose is to govern, protect, and to find and articulate the way forward for the Origin brand. The Senior Communication Strategist play a critical role in taking high-level brand strategy and platforms and crafting them into compelling and integrated communication strategies that can then be brought to market by the wider organisation.
**Why this role matters?**
The primary body of work will be communications strategy. Specifically, the crafting of multi-channel, integrated communications plans and the development of consumer-facing messaging and the. Key responsibilities will include:
- Bring big ideas to life across the origin ecosystem by crafting clear, compelling and connected strategic work across multiple touchpoints.
- Build out multi-channel communication plans that combine owned, earned, shared and paid (OESP) channels and media.
- Craft key messages, communication and messaging hierarchies to set up the design and activation function to execute campaigns that are crisp, clear and make sense.
- Partner closely with brand experts, researchers, designers, content, social, product and marketing leads, whilst building and fostering a culture of creative and communication best practise.
**What will you bring?**
As a curious thinker, you will understand the governance and systems required to keep good brands great but you’re a creative thinker too. You possess an ambition to ideate, create, innovate and transform. You bring with you a host of experience working across a range of brands, likely in an agency environment, or a combination of agency and client-side.
- Extensive experience building communication strategies, campaign ecosystems.
- Significant expertise in working across owned, earned, shared and paid channels.
- A bias for action and a bias for delivery. Able to develop work, present work and get things done.
- A rich understanding of brand storytelling and a passion for helping brands to find their voice.
- Familiarity with working in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
