We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Officer on a 12 month fixed term with a view to permanent that is based in the Head office located in Sydney's Regent Park.

Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of premium residential and commercial air conditioning systems, pushing the boundaries of the HVAC industry winning multiple awards and accolades including Australia's best brand of air conditioning for four years in a row (2018-2021). Reporting to the Logistics Lead you will become an integral part of the Warehousing/Logistics team.

**About your new role**:

- As a logistics officer you will be supporting logistics operations with a key focus on quarantine, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to._
- Liaise with 3PL (third party logistics) for all import and export shipment arrangements including interstate transfers
- Shipment notification and status reports to all warehouses & FCL customers
- Coordinating and monitoring of all warehousing and transport activities
- Liaise with both internal and external parties in relation to logistics to provide updates
- Preparation of regular logistics activities and inventory reports

**About you**:

- Proven experience within a similar role and knowledge of Inventory/supply chain management
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with excellent organizational skills is a must
- Established systems and excel skills
- Import/Export & Customs experience is highly desirable
