Your new position as a **Duty Technical Manager** in the Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) will see you act as a focal for engineering and maintenance related communications within the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and provide QE input to the IOC decision making process. You will monitor the technical status of aircraft and systems on the day of operations and by the use of your in-depth knowledge, investigate and resolve aircraft defects.

**You’ll have -**
- LAME or higher level with extensive line maintenance experience across multiple fleets
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles
- Proven organisational and communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical information clearly and concisely
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Highly developed problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, particularly when under pressure
- Thorough understanding of the CASA regulatory structure, Qantas maintenance procedures & quality requirements, or a similar operational environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively implement and manage change
- High level of capability and resilience to operate effectively under operational and commercial pressure
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple conflicting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a small self-motivated team
- Demonstrated proficiency with applicable PC office and specialist software packages
