**What this job involves**:
We’re looking for a personable, professional, and proactive Facilities Officer to join our successful Integrated Facilities Management team
In this varied and busy role, you’ll assist the Facilities Manager in the delivery of services to operate and maintain properties within the Goulburn Police Academy including general repairs and maintenance.
**A snapshot of the role**:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client, contractors, trades persons and suppliers.
Remove and/or install whiteboards, plaques, signage, and screens.
Patching and painting as required.
Conduct routine site inspections and work order review to identify opportunities for proactive works.
Delivery of non-trade maintenance tasks that don’t require a 2-person lift, working at heights or any other task that may pose a WHS risk to a single person operator including furniture repairs and alterations.
Escort JLL contractors for emergency or critical works during business hours as required.
Regular (daily/weekly) building walk through to identify maintenance issues and identify opportunities for proactive works.
Raising and closing out maintenance tasks through Corrigo
Managing external maintenance program

To be successful, you’ll be a confident self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills, and a track record of successfully delivering the best customer service and outcomes for their client You’ll be a collaborative team player who adopts a hands-on approach to problem solving and has the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks, teamed with a keen eye for detail.
Must hold a Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle as travel is required between 2 sites
Prior experience in facilities, trade, hospitality, or related field preferred
