**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Communications Manager to join the Marketing team. The Global Communications Manager is part insight builder, part strategist, part storyteller extraordinaire. Frequently problem solving against some of the toughest business challenges in the industry, this position is responsible for creating the understanding that involves, inspires, and activates change amongst target audiences.
Your role will be to cultivate insight, from the perspective of all key audiences, including internal stakeholder - and ensure they are at the forefront throughout the strategic, creative, and customer experience development processes for tna.
This role will report to the Group Marketing Manager and will be based in Sydney, Australia.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Translate internal and external research and trends into actionable communication’s strategies.
- Educate/communicate brand, positioning, voice, and tone across every customer-facing function in the business.
- Create, communicate and implement an integrated communications plan which achieves tna’s business goals and regional promotional plans within allocated budget.
- Develop and manage media, advertising, and PR campaigns by partnering with internal teams to create campaign and measurement plans, and assets; and communicate direction and updates to ensure end to end success for marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute a social media strategy to deliver effective marketing campaigns.
- Constantly monitor competitor communications (share of voice) and how it impacts tna.
- Actively demonstrate behaviour that promotes understanding of tna’s values and culture
- Create and execute a robust, internal communication plan, and platform to create internal brand ambassadors.
- Any other activity or action as required.

**Qualification and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Communications required (Master’s degree preferred)
- At least 10 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or similar field
**Desired Knowledge and Skills**
- Research and Analytical skills: You should have data analysis skills to understand current trends and predict future needs.
- Ability to create and execute 360 degree integrated marketing communications strategies.
- Writing skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories.
- Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.
- Ability to effectively manage projects independently whilst working under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience managing or working with PR and marketing agencies required.
- Demonstrated experience managing or working with PR and marketing agencies required
- Demonstrate experience working with global brands and diverse geographies and cultures
- Experience working with multi-cultural teams
- Ability to communicate in more than 1 language a plus.
