**How will I help?**

As a Private Banker for a Discovery portfolio, you will be the key relationship point for clients typically less complex needs (no GIS, no commercial debt).

You will also be responsible for:

- Developing and growing a portfolio of high net worth client relationships via growth of existing clients
- Driving engagement with clients to coordinate the delivery of our holistic banking and service proposition with a 'spot and refer' style engagement for clients’ wealth needs or complex lending
- Developing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with all business partners within Private Wealth (eg GIS, APBs, POS, Lending)
- Collaborating across the Westpac Group to distribute solutions that meet our HNW clients’ needs
- Focusing on the growth and service standards of an existing portfolio of clients to retain clients
- Referring clients with complex lending needs or complex wealth needs to (Senior) Private Bankers / Executives as required
- Identifying, assessing and managing, compliance obligations and issues. Develop strong understanding of policy, process and risk controls.. Appropriate Client Due Diligence including AML/KYC obligations and understanding.
- Proactively raising incidents and support the resolution of incidents and complaints (ie, spot it, log it, own it)
- Working collaboratively with aligned associate across a larger portfolio of vanilla clients with respect to lending and wealth needs

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate:

- Experience in a sales or relationship management role(s) in the banking and financial services industry (c2 years)
- Prior experience with the origination of consumer credit
