**Accountabilities include**:

- Oversee the day-to-day activities of a team of HR professionals including 2 x HR Officers and 3 x Senior (HR) advisors, ensuring best practice HR/IR advice and strategies to senior management and staff in TransLink Division.
- Consult and provide expert HR/IR advice to management and staff on human resource policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
- Provide support to the Manager (Human Resources) on the management of complex case management and employee relation matters while providing coaching and guidance to the HR team on such matters.
- Provide support to the Manager (Human Resources) in the planning and delivery of specific HR related projects, initiatives, strategies and process focusing on contemporary human resource issues, theories and practices to improve business processes, act on HR opportunities and address HR issues to ultimately enrich the working life of staff within the Division.
- Develop systems and processes to ensure operational HR activities are correctly documented and implemented in line with relevant business practices and legislation.
- Prepare and present high quality and timely submissions, reports, briefing notes and correspondence about human resource management issues when required.
- Represent the division with the implementation of whole-of-government and departmental human resource management legislation, awards, directives, policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external clients to facilitate high quality, business specific HR solutions and represent the Division on working groups.
- Model behaviours and attitudes aligning with TMR values and support the development of your team through shared learning and coaching.
- Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.
- In collaboration with the broader team, identify, design and implement creative ideas and opportunities to improve HR business processes and outcomes for TransLink Division.
