In this position as a Workers Compensation & Recovery Support Advisor, you will provide expert case management for APM Group’s internal workers compensation claims. This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our North Sydney Office.

**You will make an impact by**:

- Providing effective case management for APM internal workers' compensation claims.
- Reviewing new claims, liaising with leaders and injured team members and agents to facilitate a return to work
- Developing return-to-work plans in collaboration with Leaders, P&C leads, and allied health professionals to drive sustainable return to work.
- Providing information to injured workers regarding their rights and responsibilities.
- Attend regular claims reviews with insurance companies to negotiate with stakeholders and ensure that claims are managed proactively to reduce average lost time return to work rates
- Timely and accurate data entry of claims activities into SOLV

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 3+ years’ experience in a workers’ compensation claims and/or injury management role
- Experience managing complex claims
- Return to work accreditation in at least one Australian jurisdiction and willingness to learn others
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to adapt ideas to ever changing situations
