**About the Role**
The Group Manager Workers Compensation and Injury Management will own and drive the implementation of a step-change across workers’ compensation and injury management. Through education and constant review of all workers compensation matters with the business, drive a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on early return to work and ultimately prevention Additionally you will be responsible for:

- Development and delivery of coaching of frontline leaders to build capability and enable effective management of injuries and illness.
- Partner with the senior management team to bring about better understanding and body of knowledge with respect to the management and expectations for employees who are ill or injured as a result of work.
- Provide advice and support to sites on injury management and workers compensation claims management.
- Participate in claims reviews and insurers and actively manage estimated and premium impacted costs.
- Manage insurance requirements for workers compensation/
- Continuous improvement of the injury management, rehabilitation and return to work policies and procedures.
- Provide the organisation with statistical trend analysis to assist key stakeholders to control costs associated with injury management, rehabilitation and return to work

**About You**
- Strong depth of experience as an injury management/workers compensation manager within a large complex organisation
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Proven and effective track record in injury management and return to work processes in large multi-site organisations with wide geographical dispersion
- Highly collaborative style and strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
