**Team / division overview**

DWS Real Estate acquires and manages investments in individual assets or Real Estate portfolios on behalf of funds and separate accounts. The direct Real Estate team in Australia is responsible for the origination, acquisition, asset management and disposition of Real Estate assets in Australia, which are to be acquired by a wide range of funds and clients of the DWS platform. The Sydney-based team works on diverse tasks across various Real Estate asset classes such as office, logistics, hotels and residential schemes.

**Your responsibilities**

As our Asset Manager:

- You will be reporting to the Senior Asset Manager - assisting with the day-to-day asset management of an existing portfolio of core plus, value add and opportunistic style assets in Australia
- Work on formulating and executing strategic asset plans; budgeting and forecasting, leasing; managing capex initiatives.
- Involve with debt financing, approving payments and carrying out internal valuations and coordinating external valuations.
- Work closely with a variety of external consultants such as architects, engineers, contractors, project managers to ensure smooth delivery and execution of various asset management strategies and projects.
- Responsible for internal stakeholder management and reporting.
- Preparing financial models and assisting the acquisitions team with underwriting potential new acquisitions.

**We are looking for**
- A bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Commerce, Economics or similar.
- Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role or relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills (including excel financial modelling) and a high level of numeracy.
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach to work, with the ability to work autonomously where required.
