**About the Project**

We are seeking an experienced **Jumbo Operator** for our Mogalakwena Underground Project in South Africa. We are interested in people who are passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge of Australian Mining methods and processes to transfer to the South African workforce. The Mogalakwena Project is located Mogalakwena Mine is situated 30 kilometres north-west of the town of Mokopane in the province of Limpopo.

**The Role Involves**
- Safely and efficiently operate the jumbo for development driving, installing ground support, boring cable bolt holes, probe holes and any other work that is required;
- Ground support profiles are to be kept on the rig and used as required;
- Complete face mark-up sheets for each development face you bore and mark-up;
- Mark-up each face using white mark-up paint, painting a circle around any “butt” to ensure that it is not drilled into or within 15cm Maintain high standards of housekeeping (all cables off ground, hoses rolled and kept off ground where possible, excess ground support removed before firing, signs hung properly);
- Bit gauges are to be kept and used on the rig at all times;
- Report all maintenance issues to the maintenance team as soon as practicable;
- Assist maintenance department as required with daily and weekly services;
- Ensure the jumbo is thoroughly washed before the weekly service is commenced.

**Key Requirements**
- Offshore experience will be highly regarded
- 5+ years underground hardrock mining experience operating Sandvik Jumbos
- 6 + months experience with DD421/422i drills
- Ability and willingness to transfer/mentor their skills & knowledge to South African personnel
- All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences
- Adherence to all company safety standards, policies and procedures
- A valid International Manual Driver's Licence, or the ability to obtain one
- A valid Australian Federal Police Check (within 6 months)
- A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto **Consider it done — safely.**
