Canberra, Australia The Treasury - Australian Government Full time

The project lead position resides within the multidisciplinary Digital Delivery team in Treasury. The team is responsible for the Treasury corporate website, the Federal Budget website, the intranet and other Treasury websites. The team advises on web best practice and provides recommendations on how to deliver digital content. The Digital Delivery team sits within the Communications Branch and works closely with the Information Services Branch ensuring the communication and digital aspects are a collaborative venture.

The role will be responsible for leading major web projects, such as website builds, rebuilds, subsite development and migrations, including oversight of tender processes and managing partnerships with external consultants where applicable.

**Key Functional Areas of Responsibility**:

- Manage projects including setting the direction and scope: website builds, rebuilds, subsite development and migrations.
- Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively across the Branch and across the Group and Treasury.
- Provide advice across Treasury, to the Treasury Executive and portfolio Ministerial offices regarding digital content and delivery methods to best fit business requirements.
- Ensure the Treasury is meeting accessibility requirements, delivering usable content and presenting digital information according to best practices.
- Provide leadership and training to the junior members of the team, manage priorities for the team and ensure delivery of projects.
- Assist with procurement and contract management

**Desirable Qualifications / Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience with digital communications channels.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality execution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Resourceful, team player, high energy and flexible.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills. Can clearly and proactively communicate with individuals across multiple teams and departments.
- Proficient in website presentation best practices, editorial style and standards.
- Understanding of modern, responsive site construction, configuration, and maintenance.

- Figma, Adobe XD or other prototyping tools

Baseline security clearance required, or the ability to obtain.
