**About the role

Be responsible for provision of strategic leadership and expert advice with respect to research ethics and governance across Metro North Health, to ensure high quality, efficient and effective research ethics and governance processes, that meet legal and regulatory obligations.

About you

Provide timely and expert advice to researchers, Metro North Health Executive and senior management, in relation to research ethics and governance, including current legislative and regulatory frameworks and best practice standards for the conduct of health and medical research.
Manage the research database(s) and other technology platforms to ensure Metro North has an accurate record of research activity and to enable Metro North Health, state-wide and National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTGF) accreditation reporting requirements.
