We seek a Practice Manager/ Office Admin with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, a desire to support growing the practice, and an openness to efficient and innovative models of high-quality patient care.

We are currently a small counselling practice which is growing and in need of a person to work hand in hand with the director to continue the business growth into the future.

Essential Experience & Qualities
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and drive change
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Advanced computer skills with preferably a working knowledge of medical software programs
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- An ability to multi-task
- High standards of spoken and written English
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent people skills
- Accounting and business reporting knowledge
- Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving
- High level of communication skills written and verbal
- Bookkeeping experience and business development skills advantage

You will be responsible for general administration including, but not limited to: greeting patients, billings, processing Medicare/Health Fund claims and managing incoming calls, online inquiries, maintaining patient records and managing incoming and outgoing mail

Job Overview
- Casual 10-15 hours per week
- Working 2 days per week
- The remuneration package is to be negotiated based on experience
- Genuinely interested in people and can show empathy
- Reviewing existing policies and procedures and implementing and ongoing evaluation of changes
- Providing ongoing planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects relating to the practice
- Ensuring the delivery and standard of the organisation's processes and procedures are maintained at a high standard and accommodate the future growth of the practice
- Create a positive culture

The successful applicant will be well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable and have the ability to function as part of a team dedicated to delivering a high level of patient care, and demonstrate stringent patient confidentiality at all times. It is essential that the applicant has strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently under pressure.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
