**Southern Neurosurgery is a Specialist Practice based at the new Calvary Adelaide Hospital in the Adelaide CBD. Comprising of three consulting physicians including well renown Surgeon Dr Santosh Poonnoose, we are looking to appoint the key role of Medical Receptionist.**

Working as one to two Medical Administrations, this role will be assisting patients as the first point of contact both in person and by phone. Working in a high paced environment this role will assist our patients with appointment bookings, liaise with clinical staff and doctors and assist with all tasks including medical billing. With a week that will include both consulting and theatre, this role will include private theatre bookings,billings and over time to include learning higher administrative tasks. Ability to work autonomously, an eye for detail, and ability to prioritize are required

With a focus on delivering a professional and personable customer service experience, this role is being offered on an ongoing basis with a likely roster will include:

- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9am - 5pm
- Finish times are guaranteed to not go beyond 5:30pm and flexibility to pick up additional hours to cover annual leave and sick leave may be required_
- Ideally suiting an experienced Medical Receptionist, this role will receive extensive training from the existing team. Applicants must have had previous exposure to the Genie medical software package and be eligible to obtain a Police Clearance to be considered for the position. Applicants with an interest in Practice Management across the medium to longer term interest are equally encouraged._

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Adelaide CBD, SA 5000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MS Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
