**What's the job?**

Our Victorian branch located in Braeside is currently seeking a Trades Assistant who will assist in the preparation of our custom, traditional and specialised staircase components, as well as their installation:
Your day-to-day might include
- Assisting our installers by preparing job sites
- Examining and interpreting CAD drawings and calculating the materials/components required
- Laying out and preparing work
- Carrying out work for the manufacture of staircases and staircase components
- Performing order assessments, material ordering and stock takes
- Cleaning machines and work areas daily
- Performing other general duties and carpentry tasks around the factory as required
- Assisting WHS Manager as required

**What skills and experience you'll need**:

- Drivers licence and reliable transport (essential)
- Forklift licence (handy but not essential)
- Building or timber industry experience (preferred)
