**About the Role**

We are looking for a results-driven **Reliability Maintenance Supervisor** to support the maintenance function's day-to-day running.

Reporting to the Group Engineer, this role will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team to ensure the uptime and reliability of the plant and machinery to meet the needs of the business. Critical to this role's performance is the efficient and effective maintenance team management, engineering planning to drive improvement in reliability/OEE and the engineer's spare inventory.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Be proactive for your safety and the safety of others
- Providing adequate supervision of and direction to the maintenance team
- Support a 24/7 production facility
- Drive Root Cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive key performance indicators to achieve set targets
- Assigning preventative maintenance tasks to the relevant shifts
- Ensuring breakdowns and repairs are rectified on time, investigated, and reported on
- Ensuring the completion of the daily/weekly preventative work schedules
- Ensuring compliance with WHS/HACCP/BRC and all customer-defined food manufacturing requirements
- Supervising and monitoring in-house repairs
- Liaising/directing maintenance/trade contractors
- Assisting with the ordering, receipting, issuing and general management of the engineer's spares inventory
- Ensuring compliance with administration and auditing requirements
- Assisting with the upkeep of the Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Being on tools when required

This is a **physically demanding job, **so it is vital that you are fit, strong, healthy, and have plenty of stamina.

**About You**

As this is a hands-on role in a fast-growing FMCG manufacturing business, you will be an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who is a self-starter with excellent levels of drive, initiative, and enthusiasm. You will also be able to quickly grasp the maintenance and production departments' process flow and plant and machinery.

- A minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervision/management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
- 7+ years experience in the manufacturing industry as a Maintenance Fitter/Electrician
- Preference for electrical trade qualification with strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance methods and the ability to investigate problems, determine and implement root cause corrections
- Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills across all levels
- PLC/pneumatics knowledge
- Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- A can-do attitude with the ability to act with a sense of urgency
- Good analytical skills and decision-making abilities
- Regular access to own vehicle and willingness to work and travel between sites from time to time (to and from our newest location in Dandenong South)

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
