As the Service Technician you will be required to travel to customers' locations, performing machinery maintenance and product installation, and collect vibration data for analysis. The role involves design of our products into customers’ equipment, and machinery components to complement our products.

The purpose of this role is to harness our market & product knowledge, growing our business by supporting the regions at the ‘coal face’ through improving our clients Safety, Reliability & Efficiency whilst documenting gains for our customers.

The Service Technician will be part of a team of 4 with opportunity to collaborate with the wider engineering team nationally for various projects and look forward to opportunities within other areas of the business.

**Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, your duties & responsibilities are**:

- **Build** and maintain strong working relationships with your regions CBC branch network ensuring effective promotion of the nominated product and service range.
- **Perform** root cause analysis and identifying problems and building solutions.
- **Deliver **product training to staff and customers.
- **Deliver** documented safety, reliability, and efficiency gains for our clients.
- **Assist **Sales Reps onsite with reliability advice and be the specialist in redesign work.
- **Collect **vibration data and use it alongside your site work to gain further sale and service opportunities.
- **Report** monthly on activity and actions.

**To be successful in this role you need to**:

- **Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering **desired, however, those with Diploma and/or mechanical trade qualifications and suitable experience will be considered.
- **Hands-on Experience** in machinery maintenance, particularly with Bearings and Power Transmissions products, would be well regarded.
- **Strong **influencing and planning skills.
- **Ability **to identify and capture new business opportunities within existing customers.
- **High energy**, passionate about collaboration with a professional outlook
