About the role
Ox Finishes is seeking a talented and experienced Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator to join our growing team in Braeside, VIC. This full-time role is an opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to the production and fabrication of high-quality sheet metal products. As a key member of our trades and services team, you will play an integral role in supporting the company's objectives and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

What you'll be doing
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate, assemble and install a wide range of sheet metal components and products
- Operate various metalworking machinery and equipment such as brakes, shears, rollers and welding machines to cut, bend, form and join metal
- Perform welding and other joining techniques to assemble metal parts and structures
- Liaise with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety standards and procedures
- Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in operating a range of metalworking machinery and equipment, including welding, cutting, bending and forming tools
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Currently completing or have completed a Sheet Metal Trade qualification
