Our branch advises the Premier on a broad range of policy initiatives and major projects across the energy, earth resources, environment, climate change, public land, water and agriculture portfolios. DPC is a dynamic, high paced work environment.
As the Policy Adviser your varied work requirements include research and analysis of complex, cross-cutting government policy issues, providing high quality briefings for the Premier and senior executives in DPC, and managing relationships management across Victorian Government organisations.

About You
- Demonstrated experience in policy analysis and co-ordination processes to inform the development of policies and programs within energy and resources related portfolios.
- Excellent written communication skillls to ensure necessary information is contained to achieve their purpose, including an understanding of the audience.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills, with an ability to establish effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders and provide advice on processes and policies.
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills, strong initiative and a ‘can do' approach to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated willingness to readily adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in strict timeframes.
